My ka pai Animation !!

So last week we had Moari week, During that week we had to make an animation out of words, So I did this animation based on a park,  where most of the things in the park are things you would normally see at the park, I used the Moari dictionary to find all my words.

Water and Micro-plastics

 

Kia Ora Bloggers, so the past couple of weeks we have been learning about water and how we need to help change it and keep it healthy, we also have been learning about climate change and microplastics so earlier in the week we got into groups\pairs and find out a definition and 3 solutions to reduce the number of microplastics, I think it went really well, I enjoyed it .

Creating a Paper Table

So today we had to do some STEAM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths) 

we had a task to make a table using 10 sheets of newspaper and 1m of tape, we created this table to hold 1 book or more to see if it is strong to hold some stuff. It was really fun to make and would definitely make it again there were some things I would change but It fell apart. If you have any feedback please put them in the comments..

 

Private Peacful

Kia ora bloggers, So the past week my literacy group have been creating an animation on this book called private peaceful based on war its a really good book but also a sad book this animation is based on this boy named Tommo and his dad named James, Basically, James dies by being pinned under the tree, unfortunately...

Matariki printing

So the past few weeks we have been doing our Matariki art while the other group is at technology,  

Today we did some framing, the process of making the printing was really fun, We had to make a design on a draft copy, then redraw it onto a piece of foam then get some ink paint and apply it to the foam board, and then we pressed on to a piece of A4 paper. then we used a cardboard outline to trace out our frame and then we stuck it onto the back of our print picture and then we glued it and you some people used some Sellotape but I didn't and then we signed it with initials or our signature. Have you done Matariki yet?   

 

Amazing angles

 Today we did a create task in maths

Where we design our robots on google draw after it was printed out we measured the angles, we had to make 8 angles, with reflex , acute and obtuse angles . It was very fun and interesting to create this robot.

Some Exiting Steam

Today we did a some Steam( Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) 

and we had to make plan  to save a egg from falling down the stairs in the maker space 

We used paper, tape, a 1m string , and a small plastic bag, we used paper to rap the egg in it and then rip some paper to make it  soft for the landing we rapped it around a few times just for safety. 

In the end result it turned out great and didn't crack at all . Have you ever done a science experiment ?
